Katherine Bavoso joined Allies in Service in January 2013 as an Administrative & Programs Support Assistant. Katherine supports company operations by managing the hiring, training, and performance reviews of volunteers, coordinating staff correspondence, and organizing office operations and procedures. In addition, she confirms and arranges logistics required for meetings and events.
Katherine began her work with military families as a volunteer with the American Red Cross. She was a Case Coordinator for the Service to the Armed Forces division. Katherine was responsible for completing follow up phone calls for emergency messages sent to deployed service members, and mailing contact information to families who turned in Military Entrance Processing Station cards. Katherine received two President’s Volunteer Service Awards for her work with the American Red Cross. Katherine graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Geography.
