We are looking for the following volunteer positions and hosting opportunities to help better serve our veterans and military spouses.
We are seeking volunteers with strong writing and editing skills to help rewrite veteran and military spouse resumes. Editors will need to proof resumes for grammatical errors, assist with professional phrasing and match formatting to Allies in Service standards. Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills needed.
This volunteer will help with promotional and educational videos and must be familiar with video and photo editing software and DLSR cameras.
From time to time, we are in need of space to hold networking and educational events for our veterans and military spouses. If your company is interested in hosting one or more events, please contact Community Relations at 214-438-6224 for more information.
The Administrative volunteer assists with office duties to include data input, internet research, calls to veterans, and supporting special projects. The workload will vary, and we are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who is available to come into the office.
The event volunteer assists in setting up events, manning information booths, and preparing/organizing supplies. Some travel within DFW may be required. This volunteer will need to feel comfortable sharing our information with individuals who are interested in our programs.
